Roland Park is thought to be one to the finest neighborhoods in the Baltimore area. Bordered by Cold Spring Lane, Northern Parkway, Charles Street and Falls Road, much of it is situated on the former estates of Robert Harper, a Revolutionary War officer and Maryland senator between 1811 and 1818 and a sugar baron named Hiram Woods.
