Wyndhurst Station, located in the Roland Park neighborhood of northern Baltimore City, has a deep history. Nearly one hundred years ago, its main building served as a station house for the former Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad.
Since that time, the railroad has been discontinued, but the property has been redeveloped in stages and ultimately converted into a charming “boutique” retail/office center. Its businesses and services have become staples for neighborhood residents and the broader community alike. With free parking and a leafy, country-like setting, it provides for a special and unique Baltimore City shopping or work experience. Tenants include:
Roland Park is thought to be one to the finest neighborhoods in the Baltimore area. Bordered by Cold Spring Lane, Northern Parkway, Charles Street and Falls Road, much of it is situated on the former estates of Robert Harper, a Revolutionary War officer and Maryland senator between 1811 and 1818 and a sugar baron named Hiram Woods. Beginning in 1891 and continuing for nearly three decades, The Roland Park Company developed the neighborhood in earnest, incorporating property deed land-use restrictions in order to protect and maintain Roland Park’s landscape and architectural integrity. Among others, The Roland Park Company engaged noted landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead, famous for his design of New York’s Central Park, to assist with the planning of the neighborhood. To this day, Roland Park’s high standard of quality makes it a remarkable place to live, work and shop. For additional information please visit the Roland Park website.
